8lanco
At just 22, Bergen-based artist 8lanco is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new voices in Nordic pop. With millions of streams, sold-out shows, and major industry recognition, he is no longer just a rising star—he’s an artist on the cusp of a global breakthrough.
In 2025, 8lanco was named to NRK P3 Urørt’s “Artists to Watch” list, with the station praising him as a likely international breakout. His EP Hills’n Back has been hailed worldwide as a “genre-shattering triumph” and an “indie pop masterpiece”, earning acclaim across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and beyond.
The project’s standout single “HELL OF IT” was crowned Song of the Year by PULS Magazine, synced in NRK’s hit series Rykter and Bakemesterskapet, and gained extensive national and international radio play. Other singles, including “Actress” (5/6 review from Dagsavisen) and “Jetlag” (premiered on NRK Vestland), further cemented his reputation as one of Norway’s most promising young artists.
Global press has embraced Hills’n Back, with praise including:

Live, 8lanco’s momentum is undeniable. His first national tour included a sold-out headline debut in Oslo, alongside festival appearances and shows across Norway. A graduate of Stargate’s prestigious music school in Los Angeles—handpicked by the legendary producers while still in high school—he has already collaborated with Grammy-nominated producers, built a 60,000+ social following, and amassed 40+ million Snapchat views with his breakout hit “BESTIE.”
With Hills’n Back, 8lanco introduced a bold new visual identity, from interrogation-style breakdown videos to single artwork inspired by U.S. visa designs, highlighting themes of identity, borders, and movement. His upcoming 2026 project promises another leap forward: a fully live-recorded body of work that fuses the timeless warmth of The Beatles with a modern pop sensibility—crafted to elevate his already electric live performances.
